Every new road brings a complete mystery, a damaged community and a form of civic magic that can be earned only through public duty. As Gannet's network grows, so do its obligations and the question at the heart of every journey: Who gets to own the way home?
The Quiet Roads is a warm, plot-forward fantasy series about sentient buildings, practical magic, found community and capable adults repairing systems that failed the people they were meant to serve. Each novel resolves its central rescue or restoration arc while opening another road across the wider world.
